Cellulite Treatments that work

When it comes to treating cellulite non surgically, what works for one woman might not work well for another. Frequently, a combination of treatments is what produces the best results.

Cellulite Causes

Cellulite is often an effect of poor diet, loose skin tone, lack of exercise, water retention, poor circulation, genetics, lifestyle factors and hormonal factors.

cellulite causes

According to the Mayo Clinic, about 80% women have problems with cellulite. Genes play a major role in whether a woman will develop cellulite, but aging and weight gain can make it more noticeable. .

The problem of cellulite does not exist much in men. The reason is that they have much thicker skin, men usually tend to store all their body fat in the stomach area rather than lower body compared to women. Since the skin in the areas of the butt and thighs is thin, the appearance of cellulite becomes more prominent in these areas. Women who are either pregnant or are taking birth control pills tend to develop cellulite sooner when compared to the others.

Hormonal imbalance is believed to be the main factor of cellulite appearance in women. Those harmful hormones increase the storage fat in the butts and thigh areas by breaking down the collagen makes the cellulite quite visible in these areas.
