Treatment length will depend on the size of the area you are treating. Typical eyeliner permanent make-up takes up to 60minutes. You will need to refrain from applying makeup, avoid direct sunlight, and avoid wearing contact lenses for a week. Some patients may experience a slight swelling in the treated areas. This will subside with the use of a cool compress. Even without the cold compress it’ll go within a day or two. If you are having the procedure performed in your eye region, you should plan to have someone drive you to the office and home again. You may experience tearing. Most people can drive themselves and actually return to their normal activities immediately after the procedure. The pigmentation typically will appear darker in the days following the procedure. Within about 10 days some of the pigment is rejected from the skin. Follow your specialist’s on what to avoid (such as peroxide) or sunlight. Either of these can damage your new look. Your new look requires maintenance. Some people have to undergo two or more treatments. Make sure you understand exactly how many treatments you will need.
